Join us to learn more about one of the most bizarre and devastating weather events to occur in our region’s history. Author, Cary Griffith will share Gunflint Falling: Blowdown in the Boundary Waters, which relies on eye witness accounts to tell the story of this catastrophic meteorological event that occurred on July 4, 1999 in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW).
Suitable for audiences 10 years and up.
