Alanen, an Emeritus Professor of Planning & Landscape Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will discuss his recently published book, "The Scenic Route: Building Minnesota's North Shore." He will read brief excerpts from the volume and provide examples of its numerous illustrations and maps.
